Chapel of Rock Reaches Golden Milestone with 50th Album

UK-based production music label Chapel of Rock celebrated a remarkable milestone last December with the release of its 50th album, Open Roads Vol. 2: Alt-Country Americana.

It has been a remarkable journey for the label founded by composer-musician Chris Goulstone. In 2017, he approached APM Music to start his label after decades of writing for other outfits. Now, CHR is one of the most prominent guitar-driven labels in the game.

"We are very meticulous with what we output, "Goulstone said in an exclusive video interview with APM Music. "And we pride ourselves with quality, perhaps not quantity."

The authenticity of Chapel of Rock's music separates it from many labels, which often use samples and even AI in their productions.

"It's pretty much down the line, guitar-based rock label. But you know, we do American, Blues, Soul, Funk," Goulstone added. "All played live – real musicians. That's our trademark."
