Marika Takeuchi is a Japanese composer and pianist, based in Los Angeles. She has written music for short films, video games, music libraries, advertisements, and she has released five albums and four singles as a recording artist.
She began studying classical piano at the age of three in Japan. A 2012 graduate of Berklee College of Music, her album Impressions was nominated for a ZMR Award and she scored the award-winning short drama, More Than One. Early in her career she composed for Japanese national radio and Universal Music Japan. She has performed throughout the United States, Japan, and the UK.
